Are you looking for support in making meaningful changes in your relationships? Searching for strategies to cope with life’s challenges? Do you want to find more effective and loving ways to communicate and interact with your partner? If so, I would love to work with you! I have a passion for hearing people’s stories and being a part of their journey toward better understanding themselves and the world around them. I bring experience from working in both residential treatment facilities and private practice, where I have supported clients facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, personality disorders, trauma, and life transitions. I also work with couples to help improve their relationships, focusing on communication, intimacy, and trust.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate and understanding, meeting people where they are. I primarily use a person-centered approach, complemented by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I tailor my methods to each client’s unique needs and personality, ensuring that our work together is both effective and supportive. I have also received Level 1 Gottman Training that I incorporate when working with couples.
I see individuals and couples of all ages, and I encourage everyone to come as they are, embracing their true, authentic selves. My priority is to create a calm, safe space where clients feel comfortable and free from judgment, making it easier to be vulnerable and open.
One of my guiding principles comes from Brené Brown: “Authenticity is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s about the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. The choice to let our true selves be seen.”
I look forward to working alongside you and joining you in your therapy journey.
