Growing up is not an easy task. Now more than ever, our children are faced with challenges and hurdles that can be stressful, upsetting and confusing. Lack of life experience, coping skills and understanding can make those issues extremely difficult for children and adolescents to overcome. All of our providers have experience and training that is specific to our younger and teenage clients. Our providers understand that each child and adolescent has a unique way of communicating their feelings and experiences and will work with them to develop the most effective way to have their needs met. Your child’s provider will work directly with them to manage feelings and build skills, and may also evaluate the need to work alongside parents and caretakers to help educate and guide them toward building a relationship that can help the child and the family thrive.
