Families can be one of the most rewarding and satisfying parts of our lives. They can also be a lot of work! Families can be a source of tension, stress, and confusion, particularly during change and transition for one or more of the members. Conflict and stress that arise within the relationships of a family can often break down the healthy functioning of the family unit. At Compass Counseling and Wellness, we work with families to improve communication and develop effective coping strategies so that you can begin to rebuild the strength of your family unit. We use a strengths-based approach to listen and discover the positive aspects of your family unit as you grow and begin the healing process as a family. We work to build better communication and suggest tools and activities that will help you to strengthen your relationships.
